How to create shortcuts in Xfce
- Choose "Applications" > "Settings" > "Menu Editor"
- click on the blue "+"-sign
- Enter the command of the application and choose an icon for it. This screenshot is an example shortcut we created for the Egyptological Bibliography cd-rom:
